The tenth anniversary season is brought to a close by the finest jazz bassist of his generation, Grammy winner Christian McBride. Having performed with a dizzying array of musicians, from Herbie Hancock to Sting, his latest album, Kind of Brown, is a return to the acoustic hard bop that flourished in the 1950s and is dedicated to the jazz legend who gave McBride his first break, Freddie Hubbard.
